来月、日本へ旅行することになったので、私は数週間前から準備を始めた。まず、パスポートの有効期限を確認し、航空券を予約した。それから、荷物のリストを作り、必要な物を少しずつスーツケースに入れていった。海外旅行は久しぶりなので、とても楽しみだったが、同時に少し緊張していた。

Since I was going to travel to Japan next month, I started preparing a few weeks in advance. First, I checked my passport’s expiration date and booked my flight. Then, I made a list of luggage and gradually packed my suitcase. It had been a long time since my last international trip, so I was very excited but also a little nervous.

出発の日、私は早めに空港に到着した。チェックインカウンターでパスポートを見せ、荷物を預けた後、搭乗券を受け取った。その後、保安検査場で手荷物を検査され、金属探知機を通った。少し時間がかかったが、無事に通過できて安心した
Translation
On the day of departure, I arrived at the airport early. At the check-in counter, I showed my passport, checked in my luggage, and received my boarding pass. Then, I went through the security checkpoint, where my carry-on baggage was inspected, and I passed through a metal detector. It took some time, but I was relieved to pass without issues.

Section 3
次に、出国審査へ進んだ。係員にパスポートを渡し、簡単な質問に答えた後、スタンプを押してもらった。これで正式に日本へ出発する準備が整った。搭乗口の近くで待っている間、周りの人々の会話やアナウンスを聞きながら、旅行の実感がだんだん湧いてきた。
Translation
Next, I proceeded to the departure immigration check. After handing my passport to the officer and answering a few simple questions, I received a stamp. With that, I was officially ready to leave for Japan. While waiting near the boarding gate, listening to announcements and conversations around me, the reality of the trip slowly began to sink in.

Section 4
やがて搭乗が始まり、私は列に並んで飛行機に乗り込んだ。座席を探して荷物を上の棚に入れ、シートベルトを締めた。離陸前に客室乗務員が安全について説明し、非常口の位置や救命胴衣の使い方を教えてくれた。
Translation
Soon, boarding began, and I lined up to enter the airplane. I found my seat, placed my luggage in the overhead compartment, and fastened my seatbelt. Before takeoff, the flight attendants explained safety procedures, including emergency exits and life vest usage.

飛行機が離陸すると、窓の外には小さくなる街の景色が広がっていた。しばらくすると、機内サービスが始まり、飲み物や食事が配られた。長いフライトだったが、映画を見たり、本を読んだりして時間を過ごした。
Translation
After takeoff, I watched the city below grow smaller through the window. Soon, in-flight service began, and drinks and meals were served. Although it was a long flight, I passed the time by watching movies and reading books.

Section 6
数時間後、ついに日本に到着した。空港ではまず入国審査を受け、その後荷物受取所でスーツケースを受け取った。最後に税関で申告を行い、問題なく通過することができた。
Translation
After several hours, I finally arrived in Japan. At the airport, I first went through immigration, then picked up my suitcase at baggage claim. Finally, I went through customs declaration and passed without any problems.
